C4’s next quarterly Zoom Chat will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 3 p.m. EST.
National Vice-President Jim Glickman will be the host, and Past President Craig McDonald will
serve as Zoom-master. President Chris McDowell will open the Zoom Chat with a brief
discussion on medals relating to America between 1747 and 1763, touching on Florida
Proclamation Medals and Indian Peace Medals. Chris is the author of two volumes of a planned
three-volume series of books entitled “The Betts Companion.”
The format will be the same as during our first Zoom Chat in May, informal and fluid. After
President McDowell’s talk, we will open it up to Members for questions and
discussion. Participants are encouraged to bring any early American medals to share on screen
and discuss, although, of course, any colonial-related coin, medal, token, or currency is
welcome.
