THE C4 BOARD OF DIRECTORS APPOINTS CAROL WOLF NATIONAL SECRETARY

Due to health concerns, our long-time Club Secretary, Jay Knipe, has resigned. Jay has performed admirably in this position since 2016. His calm demeanor and fantastic organizational skills will be deeply missed. On April 26, 2024, C4 President Christopher McDowell nominated Carol Wolf for Jay’s unexpired term of office. Later that day, the C4 Board of Directors unanimously approved the nomination. Although we are all saddened by Jay’s departure, we feel Carol is an outstanding replacement and appreciate her willingness to serve.
For those who do not know her, Carol is a graphic designer with over 40 years of experience creating and building brands for global clients in various industries. She is a semi-retired independent consultant and has worked for leading global branding firms. Her client list includes numerous Fortune 500 corporations and others, including IBM, Bank of America, Underwriters Laboratories, GM, and the Palm Islands in Dubai. Carol received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in 1984, where she currently sits on the Board of Trustees. In 2017, the school honored Carol as Alumna of the Year. Carol and her husband Bill live in northern New Jersey with their Boston Terrier Petrus (Petey). They are avid fine art and antiques collectors, and both collect colonial coins. Carol has been putting together a general colonial type collection and is currently focused on her New Jersey coppers. So far, she has assembled a collection comprising 83 NJ varieties and numerous die states and errors. She also enjoys gardening and creative writing.
